Graduation Day

Congratulations to my younger brother Skylar! He graduated high school yesterday and I'm so proud of him. I was more like a second mother figure to him growing up because our mom worked 2 jobs to support us. I had to make sure he did his homework and brushed his teeth, therefore we were always bickering. Since then, he's matured into a wonderful young man with a bright future ahead of him. As for my outfit post, there is more to come. Happy Friday! I'm excited to share this this post with you today, as my darling kitten Cthulhu (or Tu for short) took some great photos! He's so strange. He loves being outside and going for rides in the car, as long as my boyfriend and I are both in the car, because he hates being ignored. I also get to share this amazing blouse I was able to snag before it sold out. It's by Yumi and has the most charming print, if you're interested there are still bags available here.

 Tu brings so much joy to our lives. I would encourage anybody to adopt and save animals. My boyfriend found Tu at the car dealership where he works. Tu and his brothers and sisters were found hiding out in a wheel well. Luckily they were all fine and all got adopted. I don't own him, he owns me. I'm his hoomin.

It's memorial day which means it's time for a patriotic post. I'm so in love with this dress. I bought it at Modcloth this winter and have not had a chance to wear it. All the photos in this post were taken at my Grandma & Grandpa's house (I call them Ammie and Poppie, I'll refer to them a lot). My Poppie has a collection of tractors (John Deere's mainly) and he had decorated their house with a bunch of flags. Not only was their house perfect for photos but it's my favorite place to be. I have so many great memories here.

It's been a beautiful weekend! So far we've enjoyed a cookout, a walk in the park, perfect spring weather, and to top it off, ice cream cake. The ice cream cake happened to be a surprise "just because" gift from my boyfriend. 

 Weekends like this should be cherished, especially when we all spend 75%+ of our lives at work.
